SAN FRANCISCO WEDDING: BRETT AND CHRISTA

I had the privilege of working with such a fun couple this June.  From the beginning of our planning together, I could see that a priority for Brett & Christa was the way in which their guests experienced the event.  The day couldn't have been more beautiful....two happy people celebrating with those closest to them.

A dear family friend built this double-door entry and mantel for the ceremony.

Whitney and Nick of Whitney Runyon Photography were so gracious to work alongside and their images are stunning.  They are based in Texas but love to travel! I would recommend them again and again.

These gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres were by Michael Daigain Design.

It can be difficult to find a truly rustic space inside of this city that our couple so dearly loves.  The Presidio Log Cabin was a great choice and the fireplace created a cozy and welcoming feel for the guests coming in from the outdoor ceremony.

A few guests asked me where the cake was during the reception.  Little did they know that while they dined, Brett and Christa had arranged to have the Thats Sweet! Dessert truck pull up outside of the venue.  As the guests danced, a coordinated conga line led by the bride and groom directed them outside, where they were served delicious individual treats.

GARDEN VALLEY WEDDING: BRIAN AND MINA

It is raining so hard in the city today that I just had to post this wedding to add a little sunshine.  Putting this post together immediately brought me back to the warm September day when Brian and Christina (Mina) exchanged vows.  How happy do they look?  The couple was married at a private winery in Garden Valley, California surrounded by their closest friends and family.

When I first met with Brian & Mina, they described that they really wanted to hold the wedding at an estate that could house all of their family during the event weekend.  They found Rome Valley Vineyards and began planning.  The result of their efforts was a beautiful celebration, full of personal touches that made it unique to their love for one another.  It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their whimsical, happy day!

A Soolip Wedding Event 2012

Last Sunday, I attended A Soolip Wedding here in San Francisco.  I must say that this is my favorite wedding event of the year.  The event was at The Bently Reserve which is a beautiful wedding venue as well.  Wanda Wen, a stationer in Los Angeles is the founder of A Soolip Wedding.  She has impeccable taste and a grounded view of what a wedding should be about.  She and the other local professionals emphasized the importance of staying true to your priorities while planning.

This event has some of the best vendors in town.  Jin Wang's collection was featured at the Soolip fashion show and her gowns were stunning.  I loved the soft flowing layers and gorgeous accents.

If you are getting married, make sure you check out these talented vendors.
